Welcome to the new webserver. Pardon our dust as we move towards a more stable system for Council 3591.
Two things I'd like to point out as your webmaster:
To the right, is a calendar. We will be adding council events to this calendar- so keep checking on it. To the left, in the members menu, at the bottom, you will find "File Galleries"- inside of which are three new folders, "Council Procedures", "Event Instructions", and "Officer Instructions". Our annual event chairmen and our financial secretary have already contributed documents to these directories. They are extremely interesting reading. The hope is to create a knowledge base for future generations of Council 3591.
Knights of Columbus Council 3591 donates to the Severe Weather Shelter. Open whenever the thermometer dips below 32F, the Severe Weather Shelter at St. Anthony's provides 6 beds, a warm dinner, and a takeaway breakfast. They're gearing up for a cold winter- and have been open already 12 nights since November 1st. For comparison, they were only open 41 nights all next winter.
The Family of the Month for November is Gary and Julie Stump, for their work on the Community Cafe Thanksgiving Dinner and the Council Christmas Dinner
Art Schmidt has been appointed our new Lecter, for at least the rest of the 2011-2012 membership year. At the meeting on Wednesday, December 7th, he informed us about the next small faith sharing initiative for the Archdiocese.
The First Degree @ 10 am, Second Degree @ 11 am. Light lunch @ 12 pm with the Third Degree @ 1 pm. If the member has their first degree they will be able to get their 2nd & 3rd degrees. For those going through the 1st degree and who have not been through the admissions committee you and your candidate need to be at the Sherwood Shari's restaurant off of Hwy 99w at 8:30am. If you have not seen the new third degree this is a great opportunity.
